Test Launch - Need your input!

Whew- this has been a whirlwind 2 weeks of troubleshooting and problem solving as we endeavored to get our site up and running. Everything was ready to go and we ran into a glitch with the URL address. Still have not solved the initial problem so we are using a work-around solution to get the site launched so we can get some feedback from everyone who visits. Problems with new website

Hi friends and loyal followers . . .  thanks for the messages and feedback letting us know there were problems with the Divas website. Gaining access has resulted in errors for many and Google notified us there was a problem with our location mapping so the URL address is not working as expected. So, in addition to designing and sorting through all the new gems and beadery we have been receiving, we are spending quite a bit of time trying to get all the problems fixed so we can try the launch of the new website again. So hang in there and we will be up again very soon. Will send out a new email as soon as we get everything working.

Birthday Blessings

What a wonderful birthday on The Divas Launch Day! All kinds of birthday wishes, calls and cards, a steak dinner, ice cream and cake, and a relaxing swim in the pool. No official business yesterday but we did get a big box full of goodies, and our jewelry we had in a store in New Mexico finally arrived. In addition to the online store we will be setting up a display at Charlies Place in Humble next week. Still organizing the studio and plan to start firing precious metal clay pieces next week while we wait for the Steampunk embellishments to arrive. Busy times in the studio and anywhere else we can find a spare countertop to work on.

Orders and Organization

Hi all- hope you are spending a few minutes to view our new website and preparing a list for the goodies you want to get during our grand opening! We are so excited that we have been shopping for and ordering new beads and embellishments. As we continue to organize all of the links and check to see that they are all working, we are also busy reorganizing our studio. Whew. . .  lots of work to do this week! Kidz Line coming soon . . .

While swimming in the pool this afternoon we were brainstorming new ideas and discussing what's next for our design collections. Our youngest diva, Emiley, has been hard at work sketching and assembling. Her experimentation with new beads and methods is fast evolving into her very own line. With the help of her uncle, they suggested we add a kids line of items for the younger set. Em starts junior high in the fall so who better to design for that age group than Emiley. Keep watching for our newest design star and her new line in what we are going to call our Kidz Kollection by Emiley. I can promise everyone . . .  you won't be disappointed! Online Store to Launch

Yeah! All the hard work has paid off and we are ready to launch the new online storefront for The 3 Funky Divas. The site has already been uploaded and published so check it our at:

The official launch date is Kathy's birthday, June 14th, but you can sneak a peak right now. We are starting with our most popular collections that all feature one-of-a-kind designs. We love custom designing pieces so if you have something special you would like us to make, or a color you want matched for that special event, just send us an email to: the3funkydivas@gmail.com

Our grand opening is scheduled for June 27 - July 4 and promises to be a great time of celebration. We are still updating our coupons and discount offers in the shopping cart but you can start planning now when you read what is happening each day during our grand opening.

Feel free to leave comments on either our blog, the website or on our Facebook page so we can continue to customize our site and the pieces we make.

Currently, we are working on a number of new pieces including large nuggets and chunky beaded creations sure to please all ages. We had hoped to have something for a Father's Day special but didn't want to rush just so we could put something on the site when we weren't totally thrilled with a new design. So if you have suggestions or ideas to share for future men's accessories, let us know.

We are also working on our new Steampunk line which is going to be very unique and exciting. We hope to roll that line out sometime this summer so stay tuned for further details.

Wow... we're official!

Springtime Blossoms Necklace & Earrings

Can you believe it? Another 3 weeks have passed and with Spring in full bloom, we have been busy getting "our house" in order and ready for production. Grande Dame Diva, Kathy, is finishing up her last class in the Educational Media Design & Technology master's program at Full Sail University so she is ready to start producing a plethora of tutorial videos to help other crafters design some of their own jewelry. We are finally official now with all our documentation for the 3 Funky Divas to legally conduct business in Texas. We received our business tax license certificate yesterday and now we can begin doing business in full compliance with the tax laws. The Website is almost done complete with a shopping cart and our security badge so that all of our customers can do their shopping in a secure site without the fear of identify theft. We have also set up merchant services so we can take payments by credit card so get ready to "shop 'til you drop" from the comfort of home! So... loyal followers, it won't be long now. Our target date for opening the Website up to our test group is tentatively set for June 15th so stay tuned.
