I'm sure many of you have been wondering where we have gone... with no current blogging going on, I was wondering myself... we have been super busy with shows and creating! And.... we are moving our site store and blog so we will be sending out more details in the very near future. We launched our very own Etsy shop this past week and have already been selling holiday jewelry pieces. We will also be selling at a Holiday Festival at the Kingwood Senior Center on Saturday, November 19th from 10am until 2pm. Lots of new goodies and discounts galore as we attempt to sell all of our holiday inventory. So mark your calendars and come out to enjoy 4 hours of wonderful holiday shopping.

Change in Plans

This just in. . .  our planned show event for September 16-17 in Magnolia has been temporarily postponed due to the drought. As of today, the planners are targeting later this fall for the Motor Madness Event so check back often and watch for a new date.

We are still on schedule for the Military Appreciation Day event on Saturday, September 10th at the Kingwood Harley Davidson Dealership so try to come on out and join in those festivities!

Our Second September Event

Benefiting Health Care for Everyone is the focus of the next event the Divas will be participating in during the month of September. I realize this is over a month away but we want everyone to mark their calendars and try to attend this worthy event!
We will be vendors at the Magnolia Motor Madness, Friday-Saturday, September 16th and 17th, at the tractor pull grounds, 30840 Nichols Sawmill Rd., Magnolia, Texas.
This 2-day event will be raising funds for the TOMAGWA Health Care Ministries that assists anyone in need with quality medical care. When the promoters contacted us, we were so excited about participating that we said we would be there to help out the cause.

The Divas will once again have a vendor booth with lots of custom designed jewelry, health care ID bracelets and pendants, and our line of Funky Divas Hair Feathers that we will be applying with purchase at our booth. In addition, we will be donating 10% of our sales to the TOMAGWA organization for their work in the community. Please plan to come out and join everyone for an exciting weekend of fun for the entire family. On Friday evening there will be a Nitro Crackelfest Show, modified truck and tractor show and a monster truck show with rides through both days. Saturday will feature a parade, antique tractor show, more crackelfest events all afternoon, hot tractors and trucks and another monster truck show to conclude the evening events on Saturday. With over 300 entries and more than 10,000 attendees, this promises to be an awesome event. New Events for September

Wow- another call today to participate in yet another event this fall... all thanks to our listing with festivals-and-events.com

The Divas are so excited about getting involved in these upcoming events especially since both are for raising funds for very worthy causes. The first will be held Saturday, September 10th from 11a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Kingwood Harley Davidson. This is the 2nd Annual Military Appreciation Day celebration sponsored by HelpingOurMilitary.org

The goal for this event is to raise $150K to build a special home for a wounded G.I. The Divas will be there selling custom designed jewelry, some military celebration pieces, and available to apply Funky Diva Hair Feathers that attendees purchase. In addition to donating a unique piece of fine custom jewelry, we are also donating 10% of sales to the "House-Building" fund.

Please plan to come on out and show your appreciation to our US Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard, ROTC, SR ROTC, and the Veterans from Foreign Wars.

This event will include a variety of vendors, BBQ, bands, speeches from American Military Heros, Games for kids and adults, Letters for Soldiers, Military Vehicles, Classic Cars & Bikes on Display, and much more fun for the whole family!!!

Money, money, money . . . M..O..N..E..Y! MONEY!

When searching for a new design for updating the look of our blog, it seemed appropriate to choose images of money scattered across the background. With all of the financial woes are country is facing these days, the Divas want to do their part to help manage your spending. That's why we created a new addition on our Facebook page called "Shop Now". When you click on the Shop Now link in the left hand column, you will be transported through cyberspace to our online Shop where you can browse some of the latest additions to our collections. When you click on the Like Us buttons, you will be able to purchase any of the items on our Facebook Shop AND receive a 10% discount. We set up PayPal as the option for purchasing from our Facebook Shop to make your purchasing experience hassel-FREE! We won't post all of our products in this shop but will be adding new designs each week with at least 12 items to choose from.

Screaming Divas . . .

Talk about busy! So sorry to be such a bad Diva and not being around for several weeks on the "blog-front" but our lives have been a whirlwind of activity lately. Summer keeps us out a lot and the heat keeps us in the pool not to mention creating like crazy. But I promise to be a good Diva this month and keep you informed as to what has been going on. Have been updating our Google Storefront with plenty of new earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and sets. To help everyone locate what is new just look for month update pages under "Events". Just found out today our page has been approved at Festivals-and-Shows.com As an official art/design business, we have been accepted in the vendor listings to make it easy for marketing our original jewelry designs. This is a great find because if you are interested in attending an event, finding vendors for an event, or just want to browse through the many different vendors selling a variety of goods, this site offers a plethora of treats for hobbyists and art enthusiasts. The Divas would like to encourage all of you to check out this site and find something you might like to attend. Not only do they publicize arts and crafts shows, but lots of different festivals and fairs all around the country as well as in Texas.
